I have stayed in hotels throughout the UK, but my 2-day stay was one of the most friendly places I have visited. I cannot say how good all the staff were, friendly, helpful, and always there if needed.

It's a known quantity. With premier inn you know what your getting not fantastic, not bad, somewhere in the middle. Rooms can be hit and miss, but always clean. Free WiFi is bad, paid WiFi is just okay. Breakfast is good usual spread. Staff are friendly service with a smile Ideal Location near the center of town, train station 5 mins walk, cinema and food court along the road, Morrisons grocer around the corner. Parkings £8 a day. Pickup and drop off bay at hotel too.

For a Premier Inn it was a one of the best ones so far. The room was clean, check-in was smooth and the hotel itself looks good. You have parking options, you have to pay for but at least you have an option which is just behind. The bathroom was clean and bright & bed was comfy. It’s close to another hotel that has a GYM. Overall a good experience.

For what we needed it was spot on. The staff were great. The parking would of been £8 for the night but we had a disabled badge so we're allowed to park for free. The full English breakfast was fresh and plentiful this cost us £11. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Stayed here from Monday 27th October until Tuesday 28th October 2025. Had stayed in a few hotels and upon arrival after a long journey there was no one at the check in desk and the self check in counters were all out of order. There were others who had been waiting and said they had been waiting a few minutes. I thought great just another basic hotel with no customer service. When the receptionist came she was very apologetic and said she had to attend to an emergency. When she checked me in she apologised again and explained why she was delayed. I was impressed by her honest. She went on and explain everything that was offered and the times they can be used. When I came down for dinner she was there again. She was very attentive and made sure my experience was pleasant. The other staff member also made sure I had all I needed and he too was very attentive. This really impressed me. The food was also to a very good standard. I wish there was a bigger vegetarian selection though. The room was to standard with the extra touches to make it better. The only issue was a slight running noise from the AC, although mine was off I am assuming it was pulling from another room or from the wind. It wasn’t too bothersome but noticeable when I woke up during the night. The sleep was very good. The next day for breakfast, it was the male staff who greeted me from last night. Again he was very attentive and made sure I knew where everything was. I did ask him a question about a food item and although he did not know the answer he went out of the way to get it for me and had it confirmed. Which was fantastic. The selection of food and drinks was excellent. Check out was nice and simple and I would definitely recommend and come back again. Thank you to the two staff who worked on those days, I’m sorry I didn’t ask for your names.

As a lone diner, I don’t always expect much attention but on my recent visit, I was genuinely impressed by the outstanding service I received, especially from Vicki, your hostess. From the moment I walked in, Vicki made me feel completely welcome and at ease. She was warm, professional, and went out of her way to ensure I was looked after. What really stood out was how informative she was—she took the time to explain the beer drinks deal, which I wouldn’t have known about otherwise, and thanks to her I ended up saving money on my order. That level of attentiveness and honesty is rare and deserves recognition. I returned the following day and was greeted with the same high standard of service by Lucy, who was equally welcoming and friendly. It’s clear that customer service here isn’t just an afterthought, it’s a strength. Both Vicki and Lucy made what could have been an ordinary solo meal feel like a truly valued experience. They’re a credit to your team, and I hope their efforts don’t go unnoticed.
